Safety & Use Disclaimer
Clear Guidance. Transparent Standards. Designed for Responsible Use.
At TushPro™, safety is non‑negotiable. Our products are engineered for comfort and support, but they must be used responsibly and in alignment with pediatric, medical, and federal safety guidelines. This page provides clear, professional safety information for parents, caregivers, and customers.
Infants & Toddlers (0–3 Years)
Not for Sleep. Not for Overnight Use.
CloudNest™ and TushPro™ products are not intended for infant or toddler sleep. Wedges, sleep positioners, and inclined surfaces should never be used for babies or toddlers during sleep.
This follows guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC):
-
Infants must sleep on a flat, firm surface
-
No pillows, wedges, or sleep positioners
-
No inclined sleepers
-
No soft or padded sleep accessories
These rules exist to reduce risks of suffocation, airway obstruction, and SIDS.
TushPro does not market or sell sleep products for infants or toddlers.
Young Children (4–5 Years)
Short‑Term, Supervised Use Only
Wedge cushions are not recommended for overnight sleep in children under age 6. Children in this age range may still reposition in ways that affect airway safety.
Any use should be:
-
Short‑term
-
Supervised
-
For comfort only (reading, resting, congestion relief)
-
On a firm, flat surface
Do not incorporate wedges into nightly sleep routines unless advised by a licensed healthcare provider.
Older Children (6–8+ Years)
Safe When Used Properly
Children ages 6–8 and older may generally use wedge cushions safely when:
-
Used on a flat, firm mattress
-
The child can reposition independently
-
The incline is gentle
-
All product instructions are followed
Discontinue use if discomfort or breathing difficulty occurs.
Wedge cushions should not replace safe‑sleep practices recommended by pediatric professionals.
Adults
Comfort, Support, and Everyday Use
Adults commonly use wedge cushions for posture support, comfort, and relief from conditions such as reflux, snoring, or congestion. Adults can safely use wedges because they can reposition themselves and maintain airway control.
Always follow product instructions and consult a healthcare provider for medical concerns.
